Last week, our team had the pleasure of visiting the Humane Society of Camden County to drop off some much-needed donations, and spend time with a few of their adorable four-legged residents! We loved meeting the sweet pups and taking them for a walk. It was a heartwarming reminder of how many animals are waiting patiently for their forever homes, and how even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Summer Josselyn, Mallory Wilson, Michelle Donahue, and Morgan Bundrick drop off donations from Coastal Roots Realty to the Humane Society of Camden County.

The Humane Society is always in need of supplies to help care for the many animals that pass through their doors. If you’re able to contribute, your donation, no matter how big or small, can go a long way in supporting their daily operations.

Supplies that are always needed:

  • Kitten food

  • Puppy food

  • Old towels

  • Trash bags

  • Cat litter

  • Chew toys

  • Laundry soap

  • Bleach

  • Cat toys

  • Collars/leashes

  • Old blankets

  • Postage

  • Cat and dog treats

Wish List:

  • Brooms

  • Copier paper

  • Office supplies

  • Lysol Spray

  • Window Cleaner

  • Paper Towels

  • Dish Soap

  • Brushes

  • Large dog crates

  • Dog houses (preferably plastic)

  • Digital camera

  • Dog and cat dishes

  • Landscaping items (shade trees, red mulch, hoses, nozzles, etc.)

If you can’t donate items but have time to give, the shelter is always looking for volunteers. Whether it’s walking dogs, cuddling cats, or helping with daily tasks, your time is a valuable gift. You can learn more about volunteering here.
